At our physiotherapy clinic we perform a combination of two types of acupuncture.
A) Acupuncture at trigger points (pain trigger points) where they appear in the muscles when they are hit – stretched – cooled, whether sudden movements with weight or repeated movements with light weight are made.
The spots have calcium on the muscle and make it inelastic, prone to new injury and with little strength. With acupuncture, we dissolve calcium, eliminate pain, and restore 70% of the lost strength, elasticity, explosiveness, and endurance in the muscle.
B) The second type of acupuncture is the traditional one on special pathways called meridians and works reflexively in areas with musculoskeletal problems such as cervical syndrome, back pain, epicondylitis, shoulder-knee pain, etc.
The second type, also called Biomedical Acupuncture, has an analgesic effect. (painkiller)
