The PhysioArt Center provides therapeutic services to anyone who has a problem requiring physiotherapy, dancers or otherwise, at its facilities in Nea Smyrni.
Arthritis
Treatment for symptoms of pain, stiffness, loss of flexibility as a result of normal wear of articulating surfaces of the spinal column, (lower back pain, cervical neck syndrome) in the knee, the hip, shoulder, wrist and fingers.
Physiotherapy machinery equipment is used, including: ultrasound, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS), laser, cross currents, infrared radiation lamps, special kinesiotherapy techniques, massage.
The objectives are pain reduction, increased flexibility and improved articulation of the joints.
Orthopedic injuries and fractures
- Rehabilitation after orthopedic surgery such as arthroplasty of the hip, knee, or shoulder.
- Postoperative rehabilitation after bone resetting of fractures, including fractures of the femur, tibia, fibula, radius and ulna and humerus.
- Postoperative rehabilitation after surgery on the anterior cruciate ligament, medial meniscus, medial collateral ligament etc.
- Postoperative rehabilitation after arthroscopic surgeries in the shoulder and knee.
- Lastly, postoperative rehabilitation after interventions in the lumbar region.
