Improvement of all forms of dance moves
PhysioArt Center and the physiotherapist Andriani Nikolaidi offer seminars in the application of the trigger point technique, according to the dance move which needs to be improved, at dance schools throughout the Attica region, as well as in the Prefectures of Thessaloniki and Kastoria.
The seminars for improvement of dance movements of the lower limbs in all forms of dance are divided into three parts:
- Improvement of all dance movements (plié, relevé, battement développé, arabesque, attitude, a la second) in the lower extremities with the application of trigger point pressure in all muscles which pose an obstacle to certain dance moves as antagonistic muscles. Pressure is applied for 30 seconds at intervals of 30 seconds for a total of six times. The results are astonishing.
- Examination for scoliosis and application of kinisiotherapy exercise movements, which bring the body into proper alignment, along the correct axis.
- Examination of pelvic bones and leg extremities, as well as personal therapy with non-invasive chiropractic manipulation, for better extensions and better relevé (increased endurance in dances such as tango, latin, ballet
This seminar facilitates:
- The physical development of children with the relaxation of muscles through trigger point pressure
- The improvement of all types of dance moves for dancers, dance school students, dance teachers, and professional dancers, in all forms of dance from relaxation of the muscles of the lower extremities
- Increases by up to 70% in flexibility, endurance, strength and speed
- Prevention of injuries, such as strains, tendonitis, stress fractures
Each seminar involves use of a computer projection screen, a portable orthopedic table, colored chalks to mark the points on sweat suits and leotards, and special sticks for applying pressure.
The seminars last for 5 hours with a 20 minute break in the middle. Certificates of attendance are issued to participants if requested (not certification for application of the trigger point method to others!).
